For many years Potrero was the beach where my family stayed. It is beautiful and very calm, with very calm waters and surrounded by mountains. It is located right next to Flamingo, but doesn't have the noise and partying and crowds that are usually found there. It is wonderful for enjoying the water and the peace and quiet, but it is close enough to everything that it is easy to visit the excellent restaurants in the area. Potrero ends at the Flamingo Marina (still under construction) so it is a great place to watch the boats rocking in the beautiful sunsets.
