The beautiful Playa Grande beach is located only 30 minutes away by car, and is definitely one of the most beautiful, unspoiled and breathtaking beaches in Guanacaste. It is a very popular place for surfing, but also for ecotourism, as it is one of the most important beaches for nesting of leatherback turtles. Additionally, due to its protected status, the vast majority of its extension is natural, virgin and has no urban developments.
