It is a rather secluded beach located in Las Catalinas, which is a small village that mimics European coastal towns and is worth a visit in itself. Danta is tiny, with a very calm sea, and is perfect for just relaxing under a tree. If you want to venture a little further, just cross some rocks while the tide is low and you can get to Dantita, which is its little sister. There is almost never anyone there! If the tide comes in, you can walk back down a trail about 1 km across a hill (best to wear shoes!). Las Catalinas has also developed many kilometers of hilly trails that are perfect for walking or biking... you will find many people exercising there.
